Aunt Ruth was always the most favorite & special of Aunts, and I felt so close to her. She helped to shape our lives in so many ways, but mostly through her constant love & grace. Family and friends always enjoyed being with her. Aunt Ruth will always have a very special place in my heart……Carol Ann

Dear Gayle,
One of my fondest memories from our great old Devonshire 8 neighborhood was being at your house (a lot!). Your mom always made me feel welcome there. She was very sweet, kind and gracious and always had that wonderful smile. What a lovely lady.
My sincerest sympathy to you and your family for your loss.

I wonder if there are ice cream socials in heaven. I have this picture in my head of my mother now able to have a real conversation with Ruth. We treasured so much the times Ruth and Judy came to visit with Ruth’s homemade cookies, the strawberries and ice cream. It was really love in action.

Kathy,Gayle,Judy and Jeanne I am so sorry to hear that your Mom has passed. She is there with your Dad, whom I just learned had passed on. They are there with my Dad as well. Kathy, I had been thinking about you for several months, typed in several of your families names and it took me to you Mom’s obituary. She made our middle and high school days full of pizzas, snacks and all night talks! I would love to hear from you.
